• Screw conveyors are manufactured from stainless steel or carbon steel, depending upon the operating premises.
• Sizing and pitch of flight is ascertained with reference to the CEMA standards.
• In-between hanger bearings are given for long conveyors. It helps the screw to maintain permissible sag in the rotating member.
• Correct selection of angular speed is critical, in order to avoid the wobbling effect during work.
• The factor of tough filling is designated according to the nature of material, and with reference to the CEMA standard. Here typical value is of around 30%, however drive power rating is measured on 100% filling factor.
• A jacketed trough and box kind flights are given with circulating cooling water, suitable for high temperature applications.
• The amount of cooling water depends on the temperature and properties of conveying material.

Trough Conveyors

• These conveyors are designed for pressure and vapor tight duties. 
• Fabricated in Stainless Steel or Mild Steel.
• The conveyors are dust sealed with felt, oil seals or 'O' rings.
• Hard facing on flight carrying side with 350 to 400 BHN hardness.

Water Cooled Screw Conveyors

We offer efficient water cooled screw conveyors to handle clinker dust, bed ash, coal & sludge bottom ash etc. They are effective for materials with temperature upto 9000C. These are supplied by circulating cooled water, with the help of jacket around trough & central shaft. If necessary, hollow flight design with cooling water circulated through internal cavity are given. It helps to reduce temperature of conveyed material.
